Talitha Kum new spot: together let’s end violence against women
25 November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women
Hope, solidarity, prevention, freedom. Talitha Kum new spot starts with each person in turn adding one word in different languages about our network. Human trafficking is an issue throughout the world that causes fear and insecurity, violence and death.
November 25 marks the International day for the elimination of violence against women.
“Statistics show that 72% of human trafficking victims are women and girls - said Sister Gabriella Bottani, our international coordinator -. This comes from the inequities in social power between men and women in all sectors: economic, social, family, political, cultural and religious. Talitha Kum: arise and say “No” to violence against women!”
