Muslim and Christian Women against Human Trafficking
The first Worshop of the Talitha Kum Project 'Wells of Hope" is taking place in Lebanon: Christian and Muslim Women together against Trafficking in Persons.
Sr. Gabriella, Talitha Kum International Coordinator, is one of the speakers: "This meeting is of particular relevance because women from different countries and religious traditions have gathered together. We have heard the cry and the pain of violence and war, which is among the main causes of human trafficking in the region. The stories of trafficking have become intertwined with the stories of hope of many women who try to make a difference in their daily courageous efforts. The meeting will end today to give life to a new experience of Talitha Kum's networks in the Middle East region."
