UISG PLENARY ASSEMBLY 2022: EMBRACING VULNERABILITY ON THE SYNODAL JOURNEY
From May 2-6, 2022, the XXII Plenary Assembly of the International Union of Superiors General (UISG) will be held in Rome at the Hotel Ergife, with the theme "Embracing Vulnerability on the Synodal Journey".
With the participation of some 700 Superiors General from around the world, 520 of whom will be physically present, the week will focus on the perspective of Synodality. Together they will reflect on five keywords/themes: Vulnerability, Synodal Process, Religious Life and Synodality, Peripheries, and Calls to Transformation.
The day of May 5 will have as its theme "Radical Reception: traveling in the peripheries", in this context Sr. Gabriella Bottani, smc, the International Coordinator of Talitha Kum, will present the "Call to Action of Talitha Kum", along with the commitment against trafficking of Talitha Kum sisters at the grassroots around the world.
