The Talitha Kum global network is pleased to invite you to the launch of our 2025 Annual Report. This online event will bring together members of our international community, survivors, grassroots leaders and partners to reflect on a year of shared mission in the fight against human trafficking.

We are honored to welcome Sr. Nina Krapić, MVZ, who currently serves as Deputy Director of the Holy See Press Office, who will deliver our keynote address. We are grateful to be joined as well by Sr. Roxanne Schares, SSND, Executive Secretary of the International Union Superiors General (UISG).

The program will feature:

• A presentation of the report’s highlights by Sr. Abby Avelino, MM, Talitha Kum International Coordinator, offering an overview of our achievements and strategy for the coming year.
• A personal testimony from Linda, a survivor advocate who will share about her journey alongside Talitha Kum in the Philippines and Indonesia.
• A heartfelt reflection by Sr. Carmen Ugarte García, OSR, sharing the lived realities and mission of Talitha Kum Sisters around the world.
• A testimony from Hapagarwi Karwi, a Talitha Kum Youth Ambassador from Zimbabwe, will share about his experience at the grassroots level.

The event will close with an interactive Q&A, offering live participants the opportunity to engage with the speakers. To ensure accessibility, simultaneous interpretation will be available in five languages: English, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and French.
