THE STORY OF MYRIAM

This is the story of Myriam, a 12-year-old girl who at her young age is promised into marriage. With the help of her mother, Myriam manages to escape the forced marriage but unfortunately falls into the networks of human traffickers. During this time, she was accompanied by a sister from Talitha Kum in Burkina Faso, and when she managed to escape, she was welcomed into her home.
The sisters gave Myriam psychological and spiritual support, and enrolled her in a sewing course and entrusted her to a family that accompanies and supports her.
Myriam is continuing her technical training and has been able to finish the school year with serenity.
