International Award to Talitha Kum
The city of Fafe (Portugal) during the International Meeting for humanitarian Causes and Values “Terra Giusta 2017” has awarded the worldwide commitment of Talitha Kum against trafficking in persons.
Sr. Carmen Elisa Bandeo (Talitha Kum, Rome) represented the Network, together with sr. Maria D'Orey Manoel and sr. Julieta Mendes, of CAVITP, the Portuguese network member of Talitha Kum.
Talitha Kum thanks the Town Council of Fafe and the event promoters for acknowledging the daily work of many religious women, their spirit of collaboration and networking against trafficking in persons.
