In February 21, 2014 there was the first meeting on anti Human Trafficking in Korea organized by the "Association of Major Superiors of Religious Women in Korea" (AMSRK) office in Seoul. (AMSRK official document 2014-013). Feb. 24, 2014, "Talitha Kum Korea" was established officially in the same place (an AMSRK official document 2014-011). "Talitha Kum Korea" was organized under AMSRK, because of the initiative of fr. Chan Rhan Huh, would like to be careful to make sure there are no conflicts between similar groups and sisters. "Talitha Kum Korea" is related to UISG. As a first step "Talitha Kum Korea" made a plan to share about anti Human Trafficking in Korea in each area. In 2015. the members of Talitha Kum Korea consisted of people from over 20 religious orders. In 2018 there are 25 permanent members and about 100 collaborators. Talitha Kum Korea worked to rais awareness among religious women about human trafficking in Korea and in relation to "Talitha Kum Southeast Asia" before they could make any recommendations to their members in each group. Talitha Kum Korea has currently a program of meeting. The memebers meet every second month to share their experiences and information on the topic 'Anti Human Trafficking Activities'. Talitha Kum Korea's Purpose - Each member understands and sympathize with their similar painful experience, and share the relationship. - Each member study the painful experience together and pray for each other, especially victims - Through "Talitha Kum Korea", each member make efforts for solidarity of Christ Peace.
